I wanted to wish you all a cozy and calm winter solstice 
Today Joel and I are just going to watch anime, play video games, and eat cheese fondue.
It sort of feels as though Yule arrived quickly. I think it’s because since I got back from visiting family in Florida for Thanksgiving at the end of last month, I’ve been recovering and in my own bubble. Not only that but the weather here has been insane! If you can believe it, we’ve had weeks where the temps would be in the 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. So it’s been a little hard to get into the spirit of the season when one day it’s 50 and the next it’s 75.
Still, I am really loving having the winter decorations up, the short days, and overall cooler weather. Winter is my absolute favorite season, so I am going to do my best to enjoy it while it is here ❄
