Hey everyone ♥
I’m sitting here writing this during the hottest time of the day here in Texas. The cicadas are singing nonstop now, like the heat has manifested a physical form, and it’s making me feel a bit restless for another trip to the north haha.
I can only somewhat provide a remedy to this summer heat by reminiscing about my stay at Hotel Gołębiewski in February during the Wim Hof expedition. Having grown up in Florida and now living in north Texas where it’s very flat and hot, Poland was unlike any kind of nature I’d ever experienced. I never got tired of the view from the hotel room; it took my breath away every time 🌲
I made this short video of the view from the hotel room balcony so I can always remember the enchantment and awe that left me simply saying “wow” every time I saw it. It was as though my eyes were breathing in the cold air and clearing away the fog. And this wasn’t even the proper mountain, either!
